Why SWAT CARETM

Did you know that the average response time of emergency medical services in the United States is nine minutes with an additional three-minute delay, on average, for ambulances entering a hostile environment? If you wait for emergency medical services to arrive, people die. As bleeding deaths can occur within ten minutes of the injury, the actions of the individuals first on scene are critical.

SWAT CARETM teaches officers and first responders how to use these crucial minutes to establish security, administer lifesaving measures, and implement a system to handle numerous casualties in order to help save the lives of fellow officers and innocent victims.

SWAT CARE offers the following life-saving workshops:

  • SWAT CARETM
  • SWAT CARETM Train-the-Trainer
  • Prevention, Recognition, and Treatment of Heat Illnesses
  • Managing a Mass Casualty Incident within a Hostile Environment

If you or your agency are interested in receiving SWAT CARETM training, please contact the SWAT CARETM staff to discuss how SWAT CARE can best assist with your training needs.
